In the 1960s, a rock band known as Navy Blue was performing at a club in London. They let their booking agent pick their name for the evening: Jethro Tull. The name stuck and they were discovered to be one of Britain's most influential bands. Their flute playing eccentricity was a good way to honor their eccentric namesake. He and his contemporaries began an agricultural revolution. This is the Industrial Revolutions.
