Coming off an injury the last thing we want to do is lose some of our hard earned muscle. BFR can give you a much better shot at maintaining that muscle than just traditional low load training if you're injured and low load is your only option. Heavy lifting adds a few specific elements of fatigue that you're just not going to get to same degree even close to the same degree training with lighter loads. The second element here is just a it's global kind of systemic fatigue from heavy loading.
