The Statue of the Spirit of the Cottage
Ami marches up the hill and you see a climb that used to tire you out is now done in about 20 steps. The shrine has a beautiful eight-sided bell-shaped roof with scales and ridges of the stone that come down to the eight corners. There's kind of a sheen of lichen or moss that grows within the little pockmarks on the otherwise creamy gray stone of the statue which is of a welcomingly misshapen nature spirit.
