The Importance of Long-Term Athletic Development

I like to see the recovery already as the starting point for what is next. So, in our long-term athletic development, we want to make sure that there's some level of consistency from season to season. If you do get sick leading into it or you do have an injury, sometimes it's better not to start and think about your long-term Athletic Development. You don't want to hurt yourself in a way in one race that could impact the next two to three months and significantly reduce your ability to continue as an athlete.
