Is Aldosteron an Anti-Arhythmic?
Aldosteron can contribute remodelling and scar formation, but i guess i didn't realize that blocking it could also have some anti rhythmic effect. And so you need to think about the idea of starting an aldosteran antagonist in these patients who are in this vulnerable period before they get an ic d as. This is something that is potentially life saving in the short term, not just when we get the remodelling down the road. Ah, so interesting. I think i'm sold. Let's dive into the two options we have for maras, spronolacton and a plarnon.
