David and Matt: It's not the events of our lives that cause distress, it's how we think about them. So you're suggesting that Paul identify the thoughts that he's having about what his retirement will be like; then do what he needs to do to challenge them. And I would say one more thing, Ron, that you can speak to. This is such a basic idea that our thoughts create all of our feelings. But people don't understand it. When something bad happens, we think it's the event rather than our thoughts. Sometimes awful things happen to us. Today, Matt couldn't join us because something awful happened to him. He had a horrible hack on his website
