The Benefits of Unilateral Exercises for Athletes
The time under tension is generally longer when performing unilateral exercises. Single leg exercises generally improve mobility a little bit better than most bilateral exercises. So improving your mobility during the earlier stages of the off season can help you display more strength, speed and power later on. But I just wanted to point out that our views, my personal view has changed a bit over the years with regards to what's more specific.
