What Is the Protein Used for in an Endurance Athletes?

The main driver of appetite is sensed in the brain. So it could be some sort of neurochemical mechanism that is driving our desire to eat and lower protein than would be sending some type of signal to say you need to eat more. But at the intakes that I'm recommending and we do know the protein as a macronutrient is very, very satiating, then I don't think that you would be out there seeking protein per se but definitely the higher end of the intakes is I still think beneficial.
