Your vision is a very, very strange thing. It's focusing on something very specific. And so you're pointing your eyes at something very specific, and that's what you seem to see. So then that opens up a whole new universe of questions. How do you decide what to point your eyes at? That that turns out to be an insanely complicated problem. You don't see any anomaly unless it upsets your current pursuit. But the experimental constraints skewed the data in some sense by making people assume that what they were doing when they walked through the lab was expecting instead of desiring....
