The Indian Croissant in the Body of the Chaplain

We purchased two puff pastries and a biscuit each, which costed us a total of 20 rupees. It's less than one-third of a US dollar. The shop next to the bakery was preparing Halim, like an Indian version of Middle Eastern Greece or Harissa as they call it. Pre-partition Punjab had its own version of Harissa, which is served with a Turkka. And Turkka is like an Indian technique of tampering the food with a really hot oil before serving.
