Matt H has published over a hundred scientific studies and is the author of the book why we sleep. He's been featured on t v radio including c b s 60 minutes, national geographic and much more. We know from surveys back in the 19 forties that the average american adult was sleeping seven point nine hours a night. Now we know that number is down to six hours and 31 minute during the week for American adults. Back in my home country, not much better. It's six hours and forty nine minutes on average people are sleeping. Japan seems to be the worst, six hours and 22 minutes. A short sleep predicts all as mortality.
