Climbing and Attunement

Climbers need to be very presently attuned to their own sensations and body, what's happening in their surroundings. It's important for a person to know how to self-regulate while they're climbing because another person is not going to be able to do that for them. We all are also inextricably linked to the people in our lives, especially the people who we have close relationships with. And so it's important for us to attune to our own distresses and needs, and also attune to other people's signals of distress and needs and desires.
