Vivi's bug crackled to life, catching the call into Sturgis's office and his irritated voice answering. She was annoyed to see someone come into the offices so late. Based on her last few nights of observation, the grit staff seemed to be a pretty nine to five bunch. But maybe this was part of the secret project. Her heart was still pounding from Arun's last warning, but more than anything else, she wanted to clear up the uncertainty and find out exactly what she was up against.
