The Problem of Dogmatism
"Dogmatism is essentially relativistic. By making a particular claim definitive in isolation from the integral whole within which that claim would have its reasonable sense giving ground, dogmatism ends up absolutizing the relative," he writes. "It immediately boils down to th oh, there is no truth. Do whatever you want... It's just a nihilistic dog eat dog, free for all."
In this special edition series, I will be joined by multiple thinkers and philosophers to discuss Platonic and Neoplatonic philosophy.
