Is There a Risk of a Fatal Flare Up?
Research shows that flares are likely to occur in the infancy of these programs. Often patients and clients aren't told that. So when they do experience that pain, they either feel that they have gotten something wrong. But by just giving her a bit of a tool box, or a pain flare tool kiss, that was really useful. It's actually an opportunity for her to start putting into place some of thos self management strategies that we would have talked about in the session.
