The Three Classic Threats to Free Will
In this episode, we look at three threats to our conception of freedom. They are fatalism, foreknowledge and determinism. Fatalism has to do with past truths about what we will do in the future or in the present. The last one is causal or physical determinism where there's only one physically possible future. We'll talk through each of these a one at a time in more detail. But you've pointed out that each of these challenges to free will has a similar a sort of structure.
