What's Next in Terms of Research for Endurance and Ultra Endurance Athletes With Sodium Replacement?
If you're not doing those kind of ultra distance events don't worry about it just season to taste choose your sodium based on your personal preferences in terms of taste and what's going to work well for you. The tipping point as I said is around that 70 to 80 percent of fluid replacement so if you're around that mark or over that's pretty much the only time that that sort of quantified sodium replacement is likely to be of benefit. Unfortunately there really isn't much funding for research in this area so I'm kind of stuck at the moment but unless I get some students and some funding unfortunately they're probably not going to happenunless I go out and you know crowd fund or something to
