How to Turn Your Career Into a Career

When CEO started asking me for this was this something that had been on your mind as something that you could truly turn a career into it or was it one of those situations where somebody else told you what you should be doing with your life. It was actually I was the interim VP of marketing at a company called 500 Friends which was a loyalty marketing platform so it was probably around 2013 or 2014 and that company was acquired about a year after I joined. He wound up sending a note to the YC founders list and saying hey you know this is this is what we and I did together and you know if you're interested one of you get in touch with him  and several CEOs reached out
