The Pain of Limiting Yourself in a Relationship

Both of us are the person who tends to be like I'm going to contort myself into whatever shape we need to like make this relationship work. And I don't think you realize how much you've been limiting yourself until you're out of that space and you're like wait what is it that I like? What kind of movies do I like? The other person is probably sacrificing parts of themselves that they would rather you know be in a relationship. It's so painful to have your vision of your future and not have it work out the way you want but also especially for me as a person who like I always like to play it safe rather you know I always rather be safe than sorry
