Who you are and who your partner is do matter a lot. People think similarity is very important, but it's not so important to share personality. If one of you gets angry easy, it's not better if both of you getanger easily. As people are longer together, they become more similar in their ideas as well as physical appearance. There are four basic things that are sort of crucial to make a relationship at least ok. And we know quite a bit. We don't know everything, but we know quite an awful lot.
