In a normal year, i would do like 50 milers as tune up races leading into the event itself. So i think that's probably going to be my next step forward, will be doing some shorter ultras and getting a few of those under my belt. And then target another fast hundred mile or so. For me, i like doing the events just because they offer some things that are unique to a race experience at your knock.
