Is There a Difference Between Antagonism and Agonism in Depression?
I just wonder about some of the medications that we prescribe people for depression that are actually two a antagonist, such as mertasipine. How can we reconcile the fact that they may both, to a agonism and antagonism have positive effects on depression? Yes, again, really key question. So now we're blocking these these receptors rather than stimulating them. Er, what that might do is to work more in the direction of passive coping.
