I had to completely change my definition of what it meant to take care of myself. I joke that if I were to have a third child that I would finally get the postpartum period right. Some bone broth, you know, some warm nourishing foods, not chugging ice water and green juices and smoothies. Recently we've been playing with cooking fruit because it makes it sort of mushy.
