How Many Sets Should You Do?

If what they are prescribing you in this clinic is not sufficiently hard or you feel like you are challenged, you need to tell them that. And so I typically start people off with one working set of each exercise. Then I add a working set on weeks two and week three, just to get to three sets. Why three sets? I don't know. That's just what I like. But it gives me a sense of like, okay, they're training with a significant training load at this point based on these prescribed rep ranges.
