Why Are Certain Ingredients Vilified Like This?

Shampoos are still pretty much the same as shampoos were in the seventies. We're still relying on, for example, SLS because it's a very effective surfactant. So an easy way to do that is to differentiate through pure mongering. And so when you have this message that will all the other products on the market, probably, because they say free from have this ingredient and we don't. That's the messaging that is now being put out to consumers.
