"I find myself being curious about what worked for you, but I don't know if that's skirting TOS," she says. "A lot of what I recommend to patients actually comes from patients." She adds: "If I get a strong personal recommendation from a person and then find some evidence that supports it, then sometimes I'll make a recommendation to a future patient"
