How to Deal With Anxiety About the News
I think meditation had a slightly bad rap because of the people who were espousing it years and years ago. And I would recommend not watching the news if it's bothering you. If you are getting bogged down with anxiety about the news, just taking 10 minutes to sort of accept that anxiety is quite useful. But also 23 year old me who definitely had less empathy than I have wouldn't be very impressed with that.
