In any product, we are operating across three layers simultaneously. This is what's usually called the customer opportunity or often the quote unquote problem space. The second layer is the experience layer; this is the shift in the user experience that the product is seeking to deliver. And the third layer is the business layer, which is how do the parts of the business all fit together? How does this whole thing come together into a machine that we call a business?
