It isn't an exact science how to fix these things. The evidence is very mixed, but the main approach is apart from antidepressants which do almost certainly help many, many people. If you look at the nice guidelines, there isn't really a lot of evidence that is effective. Some studies were positive, especially if you used absolutely first thing in the morning. Talking therapies like CBT or other therapies are available. ADH medication itself might help. And list X because it improves serotonin activity. But interestingly, also methylphenidate, which doesn't seem to have serotonin activity. There you go. Boring list alert.
