The Importance of Tolerance in Chatbots

I work on conversation design teams that are building automated chat systems for customer support. One of the people I was working with said maybe we should end each chat with like have a great day as a sign off. We have no idea what people are going through when they're chatting with us, so we have to just be really, really careful and get those stress cases out in front of everyone.
