Deep learning systems are paying tremendous attention to these superficial perceptual features of the world around you. And it turns outthat you can actually do a lot just with those superficial perceptual features, but you can't do the kinds of generalization and learning that we can do even as two yar old children. i think what the adversary's example suggests is that what the deep learnind systems are doing is something really different.
