The Process of Individualism

People are born into a role and asset of actions within a society that is given to them, almost like it's by their parents. Fram says we're living in an age where so many of the former chains of the past have been removed. We exist in a period of economic liberalism, political democracy, religious autonomy and individualism in personal life. For the first time, citizens are choosing what they want to do, picking up the phone to dial their parents and ask permission,. realizing they don't have to ask any one for permission any more.
