Sodium Replacement in Relation to Fluid Replacement
If you're doing ultra distance stuff and your sweat rate is less than 1.8 liters an hour which is most people then it's about okay well what is my sweat loss and what is realistic to replace there's obviously different ways of figuring that out we're not going to go into that in detail now if you want to look at you know fluid balance then you can go back to episode 3a with Dr Louis James but assuming that we're aiming for maybe a 2% or a 3% body mass deficit as fluid then you know and that's controversial where you draw the line.
