In high growth companies, all manner of success is a good Deodorant. And I think by focusing too much on the metrics and not the how, like, so let's just say, super simple. There's a sales team. They have a goal of a million dollars with a sales leader. But if you dig into that, one of the reps did 500 and was not promoted. The other three didn't make quote, the leader stepped in, sold everything for them. Three of them are now looking for new jobs because they hate the boss.
