How Leland's Foot Pain Becomes a Concern

Leland was really sensitive about water in terms of needing to have enough he was very Wary of the desert. He respected the desert a lot and so he's carrying you know five six liters of water at a time even more sometimes. That's got to be 15 20 pounds. Leland had these big black golf balls on his feet that were like walnut-sized marble glued onto them. As they got bigger they would drag on the backs of my boots and it turned into some of the worst pain I've ever experienced.
