The October Revolution in the Caucases

Georgia, armenia and agebijon declared independence on april 20 second. They quickly set up an anti bolshevik trans caucasian government. The region was one of the few areas where the mensheviks ed a real base of popular support. But they were not at the moment rushing headlong towards total independence.
