How to Be a Good Conlanger

I tend to not exoticise known human languages. I've seen discussions of appropriation pop up once in a while in the conlang community. My job is as much educating authors about how natural languages work as it is building constructed languages when working with someone. There's also so many fun and funky things you can do without falling back on accidentally making something that looks a bit too much like a wattle there yeah.
