The reason I have good pressure in jujitsu is because I know my body and when I get on you, I know how to put it through the toes. The instant you start stiffening, the whole thing moves. You can't forget the antecedent part where it's the load to launch. It had to go down first. So by the way, though, obviously squats and dead lifts, you have to brace your core to move that load.
