The Relationship Between Social Safeness and Self Compassion

When we allow compassion from others to touch us, we're more able to develop our own self compassion. We are able to experience higher levels of social safeness if we are more self compassionate. The development of it is very much linked to parental warmth, ind our attachment relationships. So when we're working with the fear of self compassion, it's not a cognitive process. It's a physiological driven body experience.We have to change the physiology, the felt sense in our minds and bodies to access self compassion.
