The Benefits of Running on Hilly Courses

I live in Cambridge, UK. I race hilly races and so there's a lot of people I trade around here but yeah, I generally run hills. It's completely flat around here, so it can be quite hard. So if you're doing aerobic runs or even things like tamper runs, I don't see an issue with going in the hills as long as you can manage the load. The next question is from Simon. What do you think about running 10 minutes walk one minute for long training runs? Is it as effective as running continuously?
