The Art of Preparation, the Art of Listening

I'm all about the over researching. When I'm writing something, I always over research. Talk to too many people. You feel bad about it sometimes because you can't get to everything. It creates this other problem, but in the end, it always delivers better material. Be super prepared for what you're going to do and then show up and listen. Most people are terrible listeners. If you can master listening, the art of listening, you're already going to be way ahead in just about everything important in life.
