Is the Cosmagotian Capped at 99?

The game has this end point after the 99, about the constellations. So if you manage to be get past 99, you unlock, depending on the kind of conditions of your run, one of these Constellations. The most recent constellation is cosmic ocean. It's a very splunky thing to do and itfits just the whole structure of the game. I think i came up with that mid development um, just trying to think, like, what would be a kind of inadequate ending. And in some way, theres not really like a perfectly adequate ending, but i thought it would feel good to kind of become one with the cosmos at the end.
