Ukraine's Promise to NATO Is Vague
CNN's John Defterios asks: Ukraine is not going to become part of NATO. He says the U.S., West European countries don't want Ukrainian troops on the battlefield during a conflict. That would commit NATO to defending with military force and the U.K.A. on the battlefield, he says. "We do not want NATO boots on the ground or to be more specific," Defterios adds.
