How Do You Find That Line Between Taking Feedback From Experts and Not Blindly Following Advice?

So where's that line between taking feedback from somebody who's an expert, whether it's a doctor or someone in business that has more experience than you? And then not blindly following somebody's advice and thinking that it's all the way up to them. How do you find that line? Yes, i love this question. Am i always i position myself as being the learner. So telling myself hales, you're the person that learns allows me to get back up every time i fail.
