Pithaletendin pathology and tendinopathy is not a disease of age. It's a disease of load exposure. As you get older, you have experienced more load through your tendons so you tend to accumulate pathology. So our hypothesis for that is that if you do a lot of jumping while your tendon is immature and not fully attached to the patellar, you can disrupt it. And this we see at the distal end as well. You can see Osgoode Schlatter in young jumping athletes as well.
