The Importance of Lifestyle in Longevity

There's a lot of guesswork involved in designing the perfect lifestyle for longevity. We've got really good data that we can reproducibly increase health span and lifespan by modulating things like growth hormone signaling, insulin signaling, IGF-1, and mTOR. It's still an open question whether or not those same interventions on average would have similar effects in humans. I think maintaining a positive body composition is probably beneficial as you get older.
