The most public cases of mental health challenges with athletes recently have been Simone Biles and Naomi Osaka. Gymnastics and tennis are two sports that are known for brutal treatment of athletes starting at the age of six. Many elite athletes just don't really have the ability to look too far beyond the end of their noses, but they were forced to do that when pandemic hit.
