YouTube is sort of a necessary evil in the sense that it's really the only like accessible video platform that is monetized properly for creators. There's no ad business model on peer to so as a sponsor why are you gonna sponsor or give any real money towards a constant creator that's getting no attraction on peer to? The last platform I wanted to talk about and we made shorts about this on tech lore is Aurora. It's a front end almost for the Google Play Store but when the underlying content is still controlled by one centralized party that they can do pretty much whatever they want with that.
