How to Build Long Intervals

I like long intervals better in general than say continuous pace stuff unless you're working on continuous pacing. You're likely to get higher amounts of volume at the goal intensity and get higher quality for it. So I'm pinning these long intervals to an intensity that I would describe as an intensity you could hit if you were at a race day setting for about 60 minutes. That's the intensity we're looking for with those long intervals.
