Mozart takes every motive slash theme slash idea he has already written in the movement and puts them al together for a fugue which explores five different themes at the same time. Somehow, with both a fugue and five different themes running around, the music doesn't sound dense. It retains its transparency, lightness and grace. As we rush to the ending, one of the most joyous in all the classical era. And as i said, what is extraordinary about it is the sense of pure joy they evoke. This is the pinnacle of the classical style in that the music is untily fascinating and brilliantly innovative but not overwhelming.
